How to play Crackjack
Crackjack is our blackjack. Finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Blackjack pays 3 to 2.
Enter your Bet amount. That's the bet for each hand.
Under Hands, choose 1, 2 or 3. Three hands cost three times your bet.
For a side bet, open Side Bets and enter an amount for Perfect Pairs or 21+3.
Press Bet to deal.
Play each hand with Hit, Stand, Double or Split.
The rules
- The dealer stands on all 17s.
- Double doubles your bet on a two-card hand and deals you one more card.
- Split makes two hands from two cards of the same rank, like two 8s, once per hand. Split aces get one card each.
- When the dealer shows an ace, you're offered Insurance for half your bet. It pays 2 to 1 if the dealer has blackjack; press No Insurance to skip it. If you hold blackjack, it's offered as Even Money: a sure 1 to 1 win.
- Every card comes from a full 52-card deck, so any card can come next.
Side bets
Each can be up to your main bet, and is placed on every hand.
- Perfect Pairs: a pair in your first two cards pays 5 to 1, or 10 to 1 in the same colour, or 25 to 1 in the same suit.
- 21+3: your two cards and the dealer's up card make a poker hand. A flush pays 5 to 1, a straight 10 to 1, three of a kind 25 to 1, a straight flush 40 to 1 and suited trips 100 to 1.
Good to know
- With perfect play the house edge is about 0.57%, the lowest in our Originals. Perfect Pairs has 5.77% and 21+3 has 3.60%.
- Crackjack has no Auto.
- Every card is provably fair. See How provably fair works.
