How affiliate commission is worked out
For every bet a referred player makes, you earn the bet × the game's house edge × your commission rate. It's based on what the house expects to make, so it's the same whether the player wins or loses.
An example
A player bets $1,000 on Dice, which has a 1% edge. The house expects to make $10. If your rate is 25%, you earn $2.50.
What sets the amount
- The game's edge. Each Original shows it as Edge: in its game info: 1.00% for Dice and Limbo, 2.00% for Towers and Bust, 0.50% for Crackjack. Slots and live games use the edge their provider publishes, and a game without one earns nothing.
- Your rate. It's set per code and isn't shown on the page. Message us to check yours.
Bets that earn nothing
- Free play, bets from a party pot, and bets that return exactly the stake.
- Bets placed while that player is wagering a bonus.
- Rounds played with an RTP booster, which leave the house no edge.
Some of these appear in the Earnings tab as Suspended, with no commission.
Good to know
- Commission is worked out in the coin your player bet with, and stays in that coin.
- The Earnings tab on the Affiliate page lists each bet's wager and commission.
- To claim it, see When and how affiliate earnings are paid.
